3. What is your favorite scent that you love to smell?
I've had no sense of smell for about 20 years now....however I always loved the way gardenias smelled and I liked vanilla....Years ago I wore Heaven Scent and then when I was older I liked Evening Musk....now I'd be happy just to smell again.

5. Are your parents married or divorced?
My parents are both in Heaven....Mother went home first in July 2005...they would have been married 60 years in September of 2005...Daddy went home November 2006.
I don't like sour cream -- usually I like just margarine on my baked potatoes. But I've had them with cheese, bacon, etc., on them, and that was good.
ReplyDeleteDo you know what caused the loss of your sense of smell?
My MIL had no sense of smell. McAlister's makes a mean loaded potato!
ReplyDeleteIt's tough, at any age, when you become and orphan!!!

It's hard to beat a good baked potato, isn't it:)
ReplyDeleteI don't have a strong of a sense of smell as I used to. I think I damaged it when I painted polyurethane for too long(without wearing a mask) while we were building our house...That stuff was ruthless!
I love baked potatoes also but hold the sour cream -- I can't eat it. I love potatoes just about anyway you might fix them but then I was born in Idaho where they grow the best tasting potatoes!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog. Another person who is not a french fry addict. :-) I see you are a reader too. I have not read 'The Girl Who...' series yet, I'm on the waiting list for the first one. It must be weird to not have a sense of smell...but maybe you are used to it by now. Great blog!
ReplyDeleteYou mentioned you have a Family Tree Maker. I had an older version that is no longer compatible with my Windows Vista. So, I recently bought an up to date version and am having lots of fun with it...haven't made scrapbooks yet.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping y my site.

ReplyDeleteI can't even imagine not having the sense of smell! I have a friend who can't taste and that's another sense I can't imagine not having. I love the scent of vanilla and usually the candles I burn are that scent:-)
ReplyDeleteI love bake potatoes as well but really prefer them mashed with garlic and chives. I'm not a big fan of french fries unless it's a poutine.
Have a wonderful week my friend:-) xoxo
I love butter and green onions on my baked potatoes. For whatever reason I cannot stand putting sour cream on anything but if it is already cooked in a meal I can eat it.
